The Hating Game by Sally Thorne

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Synopsis: “I have a theory. Hating someone feels disturbingly similar to being in love with them.”

This story is about Lucy and Josh (from Lucy’s voice). Lucy and Josh are both assistants to two co-CEOs of B & G Publishing House. They work right across from each other outside their respective bosses doors, and they hate each other.

Everybody loves Lucy. She is nice, charming, and friendly to everyone. Maybe even too nice. While Josh on the other hand is rude, uptight, and sort of scary around the office, a hard ass.

They both barely get through their work days tormenting each other but now they’re up for the same promotion..

Review: What an adorable book. Sally Thorne knocked this out of the park in my opinion. I’m not overly into romance types but this, I loved!

Full of whit and humour – and steam – this novel is clever and fun! Plus it’s going to be made into a movie. I’ll definitely be going to see it!
