Synopsis: Ellery and her twin brother Ezra move to Echo Ridge to live with their grandmother. Echo Ridge is completely unknown to them as their mother left as soon as she possibly could after high school. It’s this picture perfect town where everyone knows you and your entire family history – but they’re all keeping secrets. As a murder mystery goes, one girl went missing years ago, one girl was murdered five years ago, and now it’s threatening to happen again.
The story is well written and jumps from the viewpoint of Ellery and Malcolm. Malcolm is the same age as Ellery with a step-sister who is announced in the homecoming court as well as an older brother who was suspected in the last murder of Echo Ridge.
Review: I loved this! I really enjoyed One of Us Is Lying and I gave it four stars, but I liked this one even more and am giving it 4.5! This book really pulled me in and I was genuinely hooked and didn’t want to put it down. It was a page turner with a twist at the end I didn’t see coming. It’s a great, light read. I recommend picking up a copy!
