Synopsis: Daisy Jones is a sexy, wild, selfish artist who is always high but has a star quality to her with amazing singer/song writer talent. As a girl she grew up with very little attention from her parents but she could have anything she ever wanted. Billy Dunne swoops in with his handsome body and star quality and really feels her and listens to her. Granted, its rough most of the time. But man, they jive. The Six are this killer band missing something until Daisy comes along.
Review: I absolutely love this one. I know everyone is reading this right now but it’s so good! I definitely recommend it!
I’m sure we’ve all imagined the life of a famous rock n roll band, especially in the 70’s, but wow. TJR brought me into this world and I was hooked on every page. The drugs, groupies, the rawness of this novel is incredible. It’s hard to put down.
The book is told in interview form between all the members of the band plus some key producers/family members. I absolutely loved this style. It made the book so easy to read and enjoy. I could picture all the characters so easily and feel for them all too.
I think my favorite character is Camilla – and man. What a little twist at the end of the book there!?
