Dark Matter by Blake Crouch

Dark Matter by Blake Crouch ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

Wow. Wow. Wow. This book is c r a z y!!

“Are you happy with your life?”- Those are the last words Jason hears before the masked abductor knocks him unconscious. Before he awakens to find himself strapped to a gurney, surrounded by strangers in hazmat suits. Before a man Jason’s never met smiles down at him and says, “welcome back, my friend”. In this world, Jason’s life is not the one he knows. His wife is not his wife and his son was never born. And Jason is not an ordinary college physics professor but a celebrated genius who has achieved something remarkable. Something impossible. Is it this world or the other that’s the dream? And even if the dream he remembers is real, how can Jason possibly make it back to the family he loves? The answers lies in a journey more horrifying anyone could have ever imagined.

Okay so my bf and I read this one together- whereas he read it out loud to me- so it took us longer to get through then normal but it was SO good!! It is absolutely insane and my mind was blown. We paused several times during reading it to discuss and wrap our heads around what was happening. And to come up with theories! I’ll admit we came up with an answer that proved to be true around 1/4 the way in! But it does not mean we had the book figured out or we had any clue what was happening!

I definitely recommend it and now I want to read more by Blake Crouch!
