Helter Skelter by Vincent Bugliosi

Helter Skelter by Vincent Bugliosi – 4/5⭐️

So I started this one after Christmas and only finished it in March, haha it took me awhile. It even took me awhile to want to review it. I decided I’m not going to go into much depth. But it was a great book. I’ve mentioned before on here that I’m not the biggest true crime book blogger out there, but I wanted to dabble in it this year! I tend to get so scared that these people walked the earth and there’s more out there!!

This is a gruesome book and I had to put it down a few times and go back to it. It really paints a fantastic picture of the events that occurred with the Manson murders. Safe to say that Charles Manson makes me cringe. This view from someone so close to the case offered great insight into the case and trial, I found that so interesting.

It’s definitely a fast paced book but I read it pretty slow, only because I wanted to be able to sleep at night! Haha but I do recommend it and I’m glad I know more about this whole horrific event.
