The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell

The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell 5/5⭐️

I loved this one! I listened on audio and it was such an enjoyable book. I was completely confused and absorbed into this very sad, insane, and unimaginable world that Jewell created. This is a psychological thriller you need to read!

The novel is told in three voices – Libby, Lucy, and Henry. It starts with Libby receiving a letter she has been waiting for. The letter comes on her 25th birthday and tells her who she is. She’s shocked. Absolutely astonished to find out who she is and what was left for her in trust. An abandoned mansion awaits her in a rich London neighborhood, but she soon finds out others are waiting for her return to the house.

This book is a whirlwind. Absolutely tragic at times and touches on some tough subjects. I absolutely loved it!
