The Mars Room by Rachel Kushner ⭐️⭐️💫/5

I listened to this one on audio and it took me forever to get through. There were a few interesting parts about the prison system but I didn’t really enjoy it. I didn’t like the way it was written and I found it confusing to follow along with. .
The main character, Romy Hall is at the start of two consecutive life sentences and the book tells us about the life she left behind, including her young son, and the life she’s learning about in prison. .
Not a favourite of mine.
