The Wives by Tarryn Fisher – 3/5 ⭐️
This one was just okay for me. I don’t have a scale for my star ratings but it’s essentially a 5 star if I love it. 4 star if I really enjoyed it and would recommend. 3 star is okay but I wouldn’t recommend. 2 star is a dislike and one star is nope. And to be honest, I’ve given 2 stars but never a one star.
This one starts out so great! I was hooked and found the synopsis so intriguing. I really wanted this to be good but it just fell flat for me with the last quarter/ending. I don’t think it held up to its synopsis and I didn’t enjoy the “twist”. I don’t want to give too much away in my review but dm if you want to chat further about this one.
The goodreads synopsis is this: Thursday’s husband, Seth, has two other wives. She’s never met them, and she doesn’t know anything about them. She agreed to this unusual arrangement because she is crazy about him. But one day she finds something that tells a very different and horrifying story about the man she married.
